Artist's Comments

This is an artwork for :iconkeelerleah: contest! From left to right starting with the horse is Valdien, Jermayan, Kellen, and Shalkan the unicorn. I used 'Brothers' from :iconkeelerleah: because its one of the rules to enter the contest and because the characters aren't brothers by blood but they are 'brothers in arms'.

Well, this picture is from the book The Outstretched Shadow, The Obsidian Trilogy by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory. Excellent books for those who like fantasy.

This pic took me about two weeks on and off to complete it. Thanks for viewing! :D

it looks lovely and the background is kinda blurry, I really like that.
Anyway good luck on the contest! I was thinking of using brothers aswell, but I just couldn't stop with my ocean emperor.

COOL ARMOR! i like the horses too... never been able to draw em right myself so i congrads on the great job u did on them. dang ive got to step it up some if im gonna win against u! anyway BEAUTIFUL job.
